the tree...

she's open to life's
wild delights
dancing among
the shadows
bright.

Lovely pic of a tree - and I like the effect of the shadows. It works really well in black and white.

Trees are another subject I just can't get enough of - photos, paintings, folklore. I just adore trees.

I have two favourites: bristlecone pines (I love their knarly shapes and the fact they are so old) and yew trees (another long-lived tree and some are big and hollow and you can sit inside). Do you have a favourite tree?

hi folks, thanks for popping in and leaving your thoughts :)

Stoneweaver, am the same with trees..it's trees and the sea for me..wee obsessions that are more noticable when i have a camera in my hands lol..drives my other half crazy sometimes when were out walking and he's forever waiting :/

bristlecone pines are so gorgeous. and yew trees are one of my faves.. there's one near hear, in Llangernyw, that we visit often. it's said to be between 4000 & 5000 year old..tis an immense beauty. i love silver birch..there's something about the bark that draws me :) they're all magical tho.. xx

Lettuce, am so excited..we used to go to gigs all the time..it's been years, usually the cost of travelling as well as gig tickets bumps the price up too much for us these days. couldnt believe it when we found out these guys are playing in the theatre here..will only have to walk down the road.. woo hoo:o) will take you along in thought, lovely. xx

Laura.. :)thanks beautiful lady..xx

Hello Green whisper, thanks for your nice comments.
I adore trees, there were trees in every garden of every house I lived in so far. I planted some myself but there were also old, mature trees to enjoy.
I love how the light plays in leaves in summer, I love their silhouettes against winterskies. And now the magical colors make me happy.
Trees are something else, they are special.
